Business of design

is rather a fun morning in all honestly, looking at the moral dilemmas of whether some copying a drug on the cheap is correct. Following with the quote "the good of many over
weighs the good of the few". i think this shall be quote of the week for me.

thats all so far design wise no new project briefs no ongoing ones so sod all to do but sit back and play a little xbox360.

the concluding post for my designs relating to the soundtrack project, i feel this body of work to be another dive into a more collage approach to illustration. in retrospect i believe my body of work to be quite strong all i have left is to get them printed, consequently i feel that it is also unfinished in the sense i could do so much more in this method as i really enjoyed doing it.

the final image series of the soundtrack project part one. some of these are stronger than others which i probably the case in all things. part 2 coming shortly but i would like to get some of these printed on a large scale possibly a maximum of a2.

soundrack project

sorry for poorish quality for a speedy way of putting images of my sketchbook i used my phone camera, these are part of the body of work i created for the project given to us through the summer, i am hoping to get a load of these printed on a larger scale which i will upload at a later date as well as single images of a higher quality.

finishing a brief

basically have just finished a brief through the course to create a body of work relating to soundtracks of your life, linking to an article with Martin Scorsese.

Ok first off i dont have one track that is the all and end all inspiration to my whole life, seriously im 20 come on like most people music is like fashion. from fad to fad in the click of your fingers. i mean one minute its s club 7, pathetic i know but honestly you'd be lying to say anyone of a similar age to me didnt like them when they were around as much as it pains you to say it. which leads me on to the design brief, with the previously stated fads in mind i decided to use itunes and shuffle to choose my tracks for me and it worked.

A few things

well to start, blogging can be a pain in the arse at times but still its a good tool to get your work out there. im a design student currently in second year at bradford, doing graphic design, illustration and digital media.. yeah my thoughts exactly.
